National Walk Safely to School Day
On Friday 14 May an enthusiastic group of Immanuel students, families and staff participated in the annual Walk Safely to School day walking to school from 3 different starting points across Gawler - Clonlea Park, Dead Mans Pass and Tikka Talian.
Upon arrival at school the wonderful volunteers from Gawler Lutheran Church were cooking up a delicious breakfast of Bacon and Egg sandwiches. Students also received a healthy piece of fruit as part of their breaky.
We raised over $600 which will be donated to “Walk My Way” the Australian Lutheran World Service Fund we are supporting this term. This is a fantastic effort by all involved
