Students at Immanuel participate in outdoor education experiences every year.
On camp, students engage in a wide variety of activities including: swimming, canoeing, surfing, horse riding, orienteering and even cleaning! They also get to use a lot of exciting equipment including flying foxes, giant swings, archery and more.
In addition, our classes engage in regular incursions and excursions connected to their in class studies of curriculum. These vary from year to year and between classes but have previously included locations such as the Central Market, the Migration Museum, Adelaide Zoo, Gorge Wildlife Park and Parliament House.
All of these experiences are fantastic opportunities for students to develop confidence, independence, social skills and friendships that will help them throughout their schooling at Immanuel and beyond.
