How We Organise Ourselves

The Senior Unit has been a hive of activity as the Year Sevens have begun the process of exhibition. The exhibition is a key part of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and we look forward to seeing you and any other family or friends there.

Each student is working hard towards the common goal of presenting an exhibit based on their own Central Idea and Lines of Inquiry. This informative and interactive event will take place on:

Wednesday 2nd November 2016 - 6.30pm to 8.00pm

All people in the school community are welcome to come and enjoy this event. The exhibit will be opened with a student led introduction at 6:30pm under the shelter. We will then head into the Senior Unit to enjoy the exhibits.

The evening will conclude around 8:00pm.

If you are unable to attend the evening event but still have a burning desire to see the display, it will also be open to guests to view on Thursday 3rd November from 8:55-9:30am

No matter what grade you or your child is in, feel free to come along and enjoy the experience. It is a great insight into what your child is working towards in an International Baccalaureate school.

This year’s areas of inquiry are:

  • Systems within militaries impact their effectiveness
  • Organisations act in response to animal wellbeing
  • Farming communities rely on systems of production and distribution
  • Systems in motor sport continue to change
  • The fishing industry relies on systems to operate
  • The Olympic Games connects the global community
  • Technology can be used to connect with people and organisations
  • Emergency services utilise systems to help the community

Please come and celebrate the learning journey of our year 7 students and the process of understanding our global society.

All school families are welcome to come for a look at this exhibition.
