IMMANUEL RECEIVES $1000 FROM WOOLWORTHS JUNIOR LAND CARE GRANT
Congratulations Immanuel School Gawler, we were selected as a recipient of a Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant.
Woolworths received over 2300 grant applications and 1609 primary schools and early learning centres across Australia have been awarded a Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant. This is the largest number of Junior Landcare grants ever given out in a single round.
Woolworths and Landcare Australia were delighted to give us $1000 for our project “Native Garden Revegetation Project”. We have been recently revegetating the garden adjacent Lyndoch Road and once the new CU2 building is complete we will be able to complete this garden area.
Jonathan and Deb from Woolworths Gawler presented the award last Monday at Assembly. They also very kindly donated some fresh fruit for all our students.
