The University of New South Wales will again hold the ICAS testing program in 2020.
Students are able to take part in tests in a range of different curriculum areas, including Digital Technologies, Science, Spelling, English and Mathematics.  The primary school level tests are designed for students in Years 2 to 6.

Testing will take place in Term 3 and will be via an online program.

Immanuel School Gawler already conducts comprehensive standardised testing and the purpose of ICAS is not to have students take part in additional diagnostic testing.  Participation in ICAS testing is voluntary and the testing provides an opportunity for students to take on a challenge in the various curriculum areas covered by ICAS.  We would encourage students who excel in these curriculum areas to take on this challenge.  The University of New South Wales awards certificates to recognise student participation and achievement in ICAS testing.

Please note there is no Writing Test in 2020.
