1. BODIES AND PUBERTY’ (appropriate for students in year 4, 5, 6, 7)
Topics for this program include:
The reproductive organs and their correct names, child protection with a brief focus on safe and unsafe touch, ‘no, go, tell’ and having a safety network, What is puberty?, Why do we need to go through puberty?, When does it start?, How long does it take?, The changes both physical and emotional that can be expected, How to take care of yourself during puberty?
2. ‘BODIES AND BABIES’ (appropriate for students in 5, 6, 7 - however year 4's can stay too)
Topics for this program include:
The reproductive organs and their correct names, child protection with a brief focus on safe and unsafe touch, ‘no, go, tell’ and having a safety network, reproduction, the growth and development of babies during pregnancy and birth.
